When I first spoke with Sara and Jordan I had a good feeling about their engagement session and the vision we discussed. Then, when they got out of their car the afternoon of their session I knew that this was going to be epic.
If you can’t tell from their pictures, these two are the perfect match. They are each other’s’ best friends and it was evident in our short time together.
I met up with S+J at Brackenridge Park. If you aren’t familiar with it, it is near Edna, TX. It has a little white chapel on the grounds and some amazing open fields. We made sure to use both, and could have photograph for hours if the sun hadn’t set.
The sunset was gorgeous and I was the most amazed by the deer there. They decided to hang out with us a bit and actually are seen in a few of the shots. We used every bit of sunlight that we were able to.

I know Reice because I photographer her company several times a year. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her a few times now, and she’s a blast to have in the studio. She is a smart, caring and lovely person inside and out and so I was very excited to do her senior portraits. When we arranged her session I was almost giddy, because Reice wanted to go with a space that was a little more industrial and it made for a fun and unique portrait session.
