Senior Portraits with Dance Portraits - Houston Area Senior and Dance Photographer

Early spring is when graduating seniors usually start getting their senior portraits. This year I’ve had more seniors than in prior years, and I’ve had some fun shooting their portraits.

I know Reice because I photographer her company several times a year. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her a few times now, and she’s a blast to have in the studio. She is a smart, caring and lovely person inside and out and so I was very excited to do her senior portraits. When we arranged her session I was almost giddy, because Reice wanted to go with a space that was a little more industrial and it made for a fun and unique portrait session.

For this session we used both the interior and exterior of the studio. In most of my senior portraits we try to get several outfits in. In order to offer some variety, that can mean we either are using a space/location that helps us achieve a variety of looks.

Typically senior portraits last 2-3 hours, and even longer depending on outfits and locations.

For Reice’s dance portraits, the walls and industrial space made for nice contrast. We rented this space for the day and there are several similar options in and around the Houston area. If you ever want to explore a studio session, renting a unique space can really be a fun option.

Then there is the cap and gown. Reice had an amazing outfit that made this fun!
