Recital Photography | Katy, TX Dance Photographer
Well, I did it again.
Que the Britney Spears music.
I have just flat out dropped the blog post ball.
The main reason why. Busy. All good things, just busy. In the past year T.H.E. Photography has taken on a lot of new fun areas of expanding the business. The largest part is dance studio photography.
This means taking my two passions and smashing them together. It is incredible but keeping me busy.
Here are a few from the past few months.
This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of friends, family and mentors. Truly. I’ve had to learn a lot. Make a lot of mistakes. Then do it all over again. I had a lot of help along the way and I can’t even imagine getting to this opportunity without the support.
I am also expanding into doing more personal dance sessions. I currently don’t have a dedicated space so I travel to my clients.
I am always looking to expand this area, if you know of a studio who would want to offer portraits to their dancers, please let me know, I can reach out to them. Also, if you are a dancer and interested in participating in a portfolio building session as a model please email tricia@triciaeaton.com. I am working on a couple days where I can do so and then offer dancers images in exchange.
I know Reice because I photographer her company several times a year. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her a few times now, and she’s a blast to have in the studio. She is a smart, caring and lovely person inside and out and so I was very excited to do her senior portraits. When we arranged her session I was almost giddy, because Reice wanted to go with a space that was a little more industrial and it made for a fun and unique portrait session.
