Maybe it’s the romantic in me, but couples are always fun to photograph. I met Madeline and Clint at Hermann Park late one summer evening. After several years together they decided they needed some portraits together.
To give a little insight into how I usually run a couple session. When you see images that aren’t perfectly posed you might think they are all candid moments. That’s not usually true. All couples find a photographer in their face to be a bit awkward, and that’s normal. I do a lot of guiding to get images posed but not posed, and to make everyone feel comfortable. I like to see how a couple interacts and then find a way to portray that through their images.
And these two, well they nailed it!!!! Look at how stunning they are. The chemistry between them. My time with them was amazing, and honestly I could share ALL their images because they are magical. Even when I made them dance and laugh.
