Modern Rosemary Beach Destination Wedding - Katy, Texas Wedding Photographer
2020 threw us all some curveballs. When I committed to doing a friend’s wedding in Rosemary Beach back in 2019, none of us saw what 2020 would be. This couple not only had to deal with all things COVID, but the Rosemary Beach area was hit with a hurricane a couple months before the wedding.
However, that couldn’t stop M&J from have a beautiful destination wedding.
The day started early for this stunning bride, with hair and makeup in a suite at The Pearl Hotel. She was surrounded through the day with an amazing group of friends and family. Her suite was full of laughter and joy.
As a wedding photographer, you spend a lot of time with the bridesmaids and the stories come out that define the bond of friendship. For Mandy, she actually didn’t have a bridal party, however, she had a group of friends that go back to their kindergarten days sharing her day with her. The stories they had were so fun, and the connection unbreakable.
After getting dressed, the bride and groom had a quiet first look at the hotel bar.
The ceremony was on this gorgeous rooftop and as you can tell there were a few characters among the guests that caught my eye.
After the wedding we had a quick list of locations near the hotel to get some just married images. Honestly I could have made a day of it on the beach and around the beautiful Rosemary Beach area with this gorgeous and fun couple.
As the sun set the fire pits and strands of lights above lit the rooftop reception as the dancing got started.
