Daily Life
I love sharing some of our crazy day-to-day life on T.H.E. Blog.
he days are long, hot, and humid. It feels like bed times get forgotten for five more minutes on the swing, about five times before we manage to get everyone inside in the evenings.
We have been telling the girls for a few weeks now that we were going to be taking the Polar Express ourselves. However, they really didn't know why we were all loading up in the car so early.
One time that I've always thought was special with newborns is bath time. All of my kids have LOVED bath time as young ones. It is usually something I sneak in while the girls are in school.
Oh, this girl. She keeps us on our toes that's for sure. She is always doing something to make us laugh. I guess she did not want her shadow messing with her.
Well, summer Mother's Day Out is over, and the kiddos are home full time now. Yikes!!!!!
Alright, so this one is actually a week old as well, but I love it too much not to share.
I've decided to start a weekly challenge for myself. To bust out my camera for more of the day-to-day moments I cherish that happen around our house.
This guy, well, let's just say he's my sanity most days. He's also the best dad to our two girls, and our third who will be here in a few weeks.
This precious girl is my oldest. We just celebrated her third birthday last week and as I looked at her picture, I found myself reflecting back on the past year.
One of my favorite places to go as a mom in Baton Rouge is the Rural Life Museum. Coincidentally, one of my favorite places to photograph in is Rural Life Museum as well. If you've never been, it is a great and easy place to go with the kids where they can run around a bit.
So when we had family in town for Easter and found ourselves heading there I couldn't help but grab my camera.
If you know me, you know my kids are some picky eaters, and sometimes just don't eat. The struggle to get food in them is real. There is one thing I know my kids will both eat, donuts. I mean what kid doesn't?
As a photographer, I take my camera almost everywhere. As a mom new to Baton Rouge, letting my littles explore the local attractions is always fun. So while it was hot, and I despise the heat, we set out to Rosewood Plantation on a whim last weekend.
Okay, time is flying. I can't believe the little peanut is already 11 months old. I love any excuse to bust out my camera these days.
I'm not good at blogging. I don't write well, and never really cared much for it. But here it goes, I think it's a great way to get my day-to-day pics out there.
We had a good summer. I was busy with various work projects, but we found some balance. The girls appreciated all the time she got with their friends and cousins who now live nearby. We did a lot of park days, swim days, lazy days and staying up late to watch movies.
One of the highlights was our trip to Hyatt Hill Country over the Fourth of July.
